The Montalcino terroir is represented by a good-sized company, located in the area of Castelnuovo dell’Abate, a sub-area rather celebrated for the production of the great Tuscan red. Forty hectares of wisely managed vineyards, on medium-textured soil tending towards clayey with the presence of a skeleton. Riccardo Cotarella made the wine, one of the most respected and well-known winemakers in Italy. Brunello 2007 has a mature nose, with important hints of black cherry and red orange, well alternated with ferrous and toasted sensations. The mouth is rich and powerful, with a nice overall amplitude.
